Aside from the normal insecurities that a woman of her average tends to go through, there is one obstacle that Mary Jane has been trying to overcome for a very VERY long while. She happens to have been born with a serious birth defect. There is a critic that has been living in her right hand since the day of her birth who judges and critics everything that she does throughout her day/life.
